It is a beautiful sunset.
It brings to mind all that might have been,
and all that really was.

As I reflect upon the past, hunting,
dogs, guns, and childish things.
It is a beautiful sunset.
Memories last of stirrups and tack,
stock, cabins, and grass.
It is a beautiful sunset.
Most of this life is past,
faster it goes through the hour glass.
It is a beautiful sunset.
The bible said it was a vapor that
would shortly pass.
It is a beautiful sunset.
I await the dawning thinking of thee.
Oh, what a morning.
